The DVD’s he showed us made a huge impression and his tactful inquiries about our needs also showed a certain artistic flair which impressed us. He obviously had an exceptional technical knowledge and computer literacy, enabling him to manipulate his footage beyond the expected. We discussed the various options, which Hendrik individually tailored to our needs. That was it! We cancelled the meetings with other film makers on the strength of our first meeting with Zendrik, and never regretted that decision. What I most enjoyed from Hendrik was his ‘absence’ during the ceremony and following reception. We were not aware of his presence as he co-coordinated with the photographer for prime positions at critical phases. Riette also remarked on the privacy and lack of intrusion she felt during the make-up sessions. We provided Hendrik with our own music to be choreographed with the images. This he did independently and absolutely brilliantly. He picked just the right tracks for the different settings and succeeded to introduce an unexpected element of humor in doing this. The music added to the DVD was also very well blended with the conversations, music and needed background noise that forms part of a wedding ceremony. The light conditions were difficult to work with (14 June), but Hendrik proved himself again.  The quality of the images was very high, with everything in focus, clear and crisp. He has a startling ability to be at the right place at the right time, shooting those funny moments that otherwise may have been lost. Hendrik is not the cheapest on the block, but this is money well spent. You only have this single change, so go professional. It was a pleasure working with Hendrik.  We wholeheartedly recommend him and applaud his professionalism and artistic flair, which is very much evident in the end product.
